First plays

We will finish reading Measure for Measure next week (Wednesday, September 22), and start watching Richard II. For those with just a small number of parts/lines in this play, don't worry, history plays always have lots of different characters!

January 6 Class

We started Romeo and Juliet today. Next week we should finish the video, and may start the readings.

It's that time again, time to make our reservations for the traveling Shakespeare group. I need a headcount for tickets by next Wednesday, January 13, and I'll need the money by the following Wednesday. (Pretty sure tickets will be $12 each.)

February 10-12, American Shakespeare Center on Tour will be back:
Pre-show lecture 6:30 p.m.; Performance 7:30 p.m..
Wednesday, Feb 10 - All’s Well That Ends Well
Thursday, Feb 11 - Romeo and Juliet
Friday, Feb 12 - The Knight of the Burning Pestle by Francis Beaumont

We have never been disappointed by these performances.
